Kampung, Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort

We dined at Kampung restaurant on our first day in Kuantan. The steamboat and buffet dinner charges were RM55++ for adult and RM35++ for kids 5 years old and above.

The salad station.

This is the life barbeque station, with selection of beef, lamb, chicken, sausages, fish, prawn, etc. You select the seafood and the chef will barbeque them for you.

The Pasta Station. There were bolognaise, tomato and cream sauce to choose from. The choice of condiments were sliced garlic, Parmesan cheese and chopped bacon. The chef prepared individually for each plate of pasta ordered and the taste? Yummy!

The Indian food section. The garlic naan was good.

The Chinese Kitchen and From the Basket sections. They had fried rice, wok fried kway teow, chee cheong fun, assorted pau, etc.

The desert counter with lots of cakes, fruits and ice-cream to choose from. The buffet dinner included coffee and tea. I ordered coffee to go with cheese cake. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the cheese cake as I couldn't taste much of the cream cheese taste.

We always dine and have our buffet dinner at Kampung on our first day in Kuantan. After the long drive from KL, we took things easy, have a swim, rest and relax and meet at Kampung for dinner.
