I've stopped scrapbooking for a while (and did more baking) until I received a sms from Papier informing me about the above event.
When Jo met me for lunch, we chat about scrapbooking and decided to attend the Make n Take session together. Doing favourite hobby together with our favourite buddy is always more fun than doing it alone.
Date: Sunday, December 15th, 2008 from 2pm to 6pm
Program:
- Demo on a cordless design cutter, Slice.
- "Make-n-Take" a Maya Road Mini Album project
- Lucky draw, where everyone wins a prize!
- Exclusive one day discounts (including the Slice)
- Big Apple donuts for tea time
The whole thing only cost RM50 for Papier member and RM60 per person for Non-Papier member. The best thing is we got to take home our mini album at the end of the session.

For the Make n Take session, we did a Bird Coaster Chipboard mini album. The theme of the project was "A day in the life of ... " where we made a mini album of our favourite person doing various activities.
We were provided with the bird coaster chipboard shape, design papers, butterfly, dragonfly and snail chipboard shapes, acrylic paint, embellishments, etc.
This is the creation by Jo for her son, Athan.
Jo and I enjoyed the session very, very much. At least, at the end of the session, we have something to show to our hubbies.
